"MZ - Highly Tuned for Poor Economy and Increased Pollution..."
Hello, and welcome to the online site for the South of Scotland Section of the MZ Riders Club.
My name is Mike and as well as being a founder
member of the Section and it's Area Rep, I'm also the current
National Regalia Officer for the main MZ Riders Club - which just means that I am the
one responsible for the motley collection of t-shirts that you'll find
club members wearing.
The general idea behind this site is to let you know what the MZ Riders Club is doing in Central and Southern Scotland (which is the Section's catchment area) with a view to enticing you along and meet other like-minded MZ folk. To that end we hold regular monthly meetings and the occasional camping weekend throughout the year. There is also the opportunity to attend other national MZ Riders Club events the length and breadth of the country, as well as many held overseas. Details of these meetings and events can be found on the appropriate pages. The site has gotten a lot bigger than I had intended, but then MZs are rather addictive and it can sometimes feel like they have begun to take over your life. I try and update the site periodically, so I'd recommend that you bookmark it and drop by now and again. Check the 'page updated' details on the left to see if anything has changed since you were here last. Please feel free to contact me with any suggestions or observations that you may have on the Section or the MZ Riders Club in general. I will try and answer general questions on MZ motorcycles and the club in general, but questions of a more technical nature should be directed to the MZ Riders Club's Technical Officer (details of the main club site can be found on the 'Links' page). My contact details can be found below. Cheers, Mike **********************************************************************
